Information We Collect
Account Registration
When you create an account with Fète, we collect your email address and name through our authentication system powered by Supabase Auth. We also support authentication via Google OAuth, which may provide us with additional profile information from your Google account if you authorize it. This information is used to create and manage your account.
Event Information
When you create and manage events, we collect details about your events, including event name, date, time, location, description, and other event-specific information you provide. We also collect guest information including guest names, email addresses, and RSVP responses. Any messages, notes, or communications associated with your events are stored in our database.
Uploaded Content
When you upload images or other media to create your invitations, these files are stored in Supabase Storage. We collect and retain this content as part of your event management.
Payment Information
When you make a purchase or upgrade your account, payment information is processed through Stripe. We do not store complete credit card numbers on our servers. Stripe securely handles all payment processing, and we only receive confirmation of successful transactions.
Automatic Collection
Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically collects information about your interactions with our Service, including IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and time spent on pages. This information helps us understand how users interact with Fète and allows us to analyze trends and improve our Service. Vercel may use cookies and similar technologies for this purpose.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes:

Data Sharing & Third Parties
We share certain information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Service. These third parties are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes we specify:
Supabase
We use Supabase for database storage, authentication, and file storage. Your account information, event details, guest information, and uploaded media are stored on Supabase's secure servers.
Resend
We use Resend to send transactional emails on your behalf. Your email address and event-related information are shared with Resend for the purpose of delivering confirmations, RSVP notifications, and other service emails.
Stripe
Payment information is processed through Stripe. We share transaction information with Stripe to process your payments and manage your subscription.
Anthropic (Claude API)
When you use our AI-powered invitation writing features, event details and descriptions are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate invitation copy. Please note that information sent to Claude may be subject to Anthropic's privacy policies. We recommend avoiding sharing sensitive personal information when using this feature.
Vercel
Vercel hosts our Service and automatically collects usage analytics, including IP addresses, browser information, and interaction patterns with our website and applications.
Google OAuth
If you choose to authenticate using Google OAuth, your authentication is handled directly by Google. We do not store your Google password and only receive information you authorize during the authentication process.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We may disclose your information when required by law or when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, or ensure the safety of our users.
Data Storage & Security
We take the security of your information seriously. Fète implements appropriate technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Your information is encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols. Data is stored on Supabase's secure servers, which employ multiple layers of security measures.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use Fète at your own risk.
